The production of the film Viaje Todo Robado, directed by Diego Graue, was a monumental challenge carried out in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The logistics of filming a comedy with a high-level cast—including Bruno Bichir and Ana Claudia Talancón—were already complex, but the virus added an unprecedented level of uncertainty. The challenge was to keep the production running and on schedule, even as the illness sidelined key team members.
Originally, my role was as Key PA, but the project became a trial by fire for my ability to adapt. As the pandemic affected the production, I had to "multiply" myself to fill the gaps that COVID left in the team. I assisted in direction, took charge of coordination and transportation, and performed any other necessary tasks to keep the film moving. This "all-around" approach was key to ensuring the project did not come to a halt.
The result is a successful comedy that premiered in theaters, a true testament to the team's resilience. Beyond the film itself, this project was an unparalleled experience of professional growth. It proved me to be a leader capable of managing chaos, thinking creatively under pressure, and seeing a production through no matter the obstacles. Viaje Todo Robado not only taught me to be a versatile professional but also showed me that commitment and adaptability are the heart of a great production.
