The production of the Tequila Lalo commercial was a high-concept storytelling challenge. The objective was to position the brand as a tequila for a new generation, one that invites you to "see in a new way." The main challenge was to create an audiovisual piece that felt both modern and timeless, using a sophisticated cinematic aesthetic to translate a philosophical message about curiosity and perspective into an impactful visual narrative.
Under the direction of Memo Matthews and with cinematography by Ernesto Zarur, and with the Adrenorama team, we approached this project with a profoundly artistic vision. The production focused on an aesthetic of contrasts, blending shots with warm, natural light with black and white sequences to evoke a sense of duality and discovery. The cinematography was focused on capturing intimate and spontaneous moments in sophisticated and natural locations, creating a visual world that feels both aspirational and authentic.
The result is an elegant and powerful commercial that elevates the brand's message to a cultural level. The piece achieves its objective of being more than a product commercial, becoming a visual manifesto that speaks to an audience that values authenticity and a new way of seeing the world. This project is a testament to how sophisticated art direction and cinematography can bring an abstract concept to life, proving that the best way to sell an idea is by making it feel personal.
